Food giant Nestlé and US coffee chain Starbucks are partnering to launch ready-to-drink coffee beverages in the markets of Southeast Asia, Oceania and Latin America are expanding, both partners said.
Nestle and Starbucks signed a global licensing deal in 2018, which gave Nestle permanent rights to market Starbucks packaged coffee and foodservice products globally. The initial agreement did not include items sold in Starbucks coffee shops and ready-to-drink products.

As part of the expanded partnership, Nestle and Starbucks will launch products such as the Starbucks Frappuccino and Double shot and develop new products in select markets in Southeast Asia, Oceania, and Latin America starting next year, the two partners said.

The new collaboration builds on a successful three-year partnership through the global coffee alliance, which expanded the reach of Starbucks branded coffee and tea products across 79 markets outside Starbucks retail stores.
