Over the years, OnePlus has established itself as one of the most-trusted smartphone makers in the Indian market. The brand’s name is considered to be synonymous with quality and users in India have generally been quite pleased with OnePlus devices so far. The phone’s first foldable smartphone, the OnePlus Open, was much-hyped even before its launch. Tech enthusiasts have been keen on getting a look at the foldable smartphone and are quite curious to know about its features, specifications and India price as well. Now that the phone has been launched, we finally have all these details with us.
Design: The OnePlus Open comes with a compact design, despite being a foldable phone. When folded, the Emerald Dusk is 11.7 mm thick while the Voyager Black variant has a thickness of 11.9 mm. When unfolded, the Emerald Dusk variant will be 5.8 mm thick while the Voyager Black variant will be 5.9 mm thick.
Talking about the phone’s height, it stands 153.4 mm tall. The width is 143.1 mm when unfolded and 73.3 mm when folded. Coming to the weight, the Voyager Black weighs around 239 g while the Emerald Dusk weighs about 245 g.
Display: the phone features a 7.82-inch Flexi-fluid AMOLED primary display with peak brightness of up to 2800 nits. In addition to this, the display has a resolution of 2440 x 2268 pixels with 426 ppi. The secondary display, which is the outer display, is 6.31-inch with 2K resolution and 431 ppi. Both displays have a refresh rate of up to 120Hz.
Camera: The OnePlus Open comes with a primary 48-megapixel camera with Sony’s LYT-T808 “Pixel Stacked” CMOS sensor with OIS. This is paired with a 64-megapixel telephoto camera and a 48-megapixel ultra-wide camera. The camera can record videos in 4K quality with 60 FPS. In the front, there is a 20-megapixel primary camera paired with a 32-megapixel secondary camera. Processor and OS: The phone is powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor and runs on the all-new OxygenOS 13.2 based on Android 13 out of the box.
Battery: The phone comes with a 4,805 mAh battery and supports 67W fast charging. OnePlus says that the battery can reach from 1-100 per cent in around 42 minutes and result in more than one day of use on a single charge. A charger is also included in the retail box.
